I would like to announce that I am in the process of weeding the following items out of my life, for I feel that an acutal need for them does not exist:

1)goodbye white socks

why white, really? so they stain faster and I buy more socks quicker? So that matching socks while folding is near impossible? do they stay cleaner? less smelly? i don't think so. what i do think is that having all white socks is a burden. when i think about my blue flowered socks, my rainbow socks, my black starry socks, i smile. And so I will smile even more once white socks are out of my life.

2) goodbye nylons (colored tights are acceptable for they encourage spunk and creativity).

more tacky than flattering. upclose nylons make your skin you saggy, not sleek. if they're the control top then that's just flat out deception. go on a date, a guy thinks you've got a nice tone tummy and tomorrow afternoon WHAM he's gone when he realizes he's fallen for the one-two-panty-suckage trick.
