Last Friday I persuaded myself to attend an Accounting Networking Event in Edmonds. Not only was it less stressful than I had imagined, but I actually enjoyed myself.
AND...Two CPA firms contacted me today for interviews next week!
Considering the countless hours I spend responding to craigslist postings, which has yielded zero interviews... Networking produced 2 interviews in 2.5 hours.
I guess what they say is true: it's all about who you know.
