Some words of Others I have jotted down over the past week:

"Fantasy, depression and God are all, like blue, in the more mysterious reaches of our consciousness." - Victoria Finlay , Color

Aubade
by Louis Macneice

Having bitten on life like a sharp apple
Or, playing it like a fish, been happy,

Having felt with fingers that the sky is blue
What have we after that to look forward to?

Not the twilight of the gods but a precise dawn
Of sallow and grey bricks, and newsboys crying war.

(of course i might change the last 2 lines)

Psalm 8:3-9

When I look at the night sky and see
the work of Your fingers-the moon and the
stars You set in place-
what are people that You should think about them,
mere mortals that You should care for them?
yet You made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them charge of everything You made,
putting all things under their authority-
the flocks and the herds
and all the wild animals,
the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,
and everything that swims the ocean currents.
O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills
the earth!

Psalm 6:2
Have compassion on me Lord for I am weak.
