I just slept for 13 hours to make up for the last 40 hours I had stayed up. I would have slept only 8.5 hours, but after waking up and realizing it was cloudy outside, I was able to justify remaining in bed all day. aaaaaah, this is one of the few times in my life that i have not regretted sleeping in. i feel wonderful.

I dreamt about my feet last night and how rough they were, that Sean wouldn't see me anymore unless i got a pedicure, and that they made this horrific scraping noise (like nails to a chalkboard) whenever i took a step. The first thing i'm going to do today involves a pumice stone and body butter followed by thick socks and tennis shoes.

Everything I tried to eat this morning tasted like garlic to me: scottish pancakes, a quesadilla, eggs...i threw them all away. So, I scanned the fridge to find an item which seemed least likely to bear any relation to garlic: rasberry yogurt.

Last night in my Jeep, while waiting for Cari to arrive at the Greyhound Bus station, Sean attempted to teach me palmas, Flamenco clapping. I have been practicing this morning, and have concluded that I will never be as skilled as him in the following areas : palmas, singing, guitar, articulation, sense of smell, sense of direction, the ability to form thoughts and ideas quickly, etc. etc. etc. etc. I'm glad i'm not a competitive person.

Dilettante is my favorite cafe as far as drinks go: ephmere mochas, turkish coffee, wonderful chai tea, spiced cider...not to mention mocha praline silk gateau, or raspberry cheesecake!. Cafe Ladro for their heavenly wooden chairs and delicious iced tea. El Diablo for their outdoor atmosphere and Limonadas. I think that before I die I would like to visit every independent coffee shop in Seattle. (yes yes i know Ladro and dilettante are chain cafes, you don't need to comment). hmmnn food for thought, or i suppose, coffee for thought...sheesh i'm turning into an old man.

I'm going to come back and blog when I actually have something worth saying, a story to tell, an adventure to share...
