question of the day: when was the last time you chased a butterfly?
today was beautiful. jogged over beauty bark, next to ducks, encountered older men and their dogs with names like Acey. older men seem to not be effected by the weather, red cardigans and hats...worn like their skin. then i sat in front of the sea as flamenco flowed through my ears and wrote a bit about how I am like a wave. i wondered through Exodus, dabbled in Romans and tried to just listen. there was a cup of white-orange tea had with my books. a nap. and then sushi, mini eggs, string cheese, and the good company of lacey in the park, with a picnic table, children chasing butterflies and little boys crying in the woods. then a drive through paradise and a lecture on belief systems. now hopefully onto turquoise colored dreams in which I can sit atop the stars and talk with old men for years.

I don't chase butterflies anymore, because I'm afraid I'm finally fast enough to catch them.
