A little joy.

My Dad, I love him, and he makes me smile because...(1) He wants the Nightmare Before Christmas/Jack Skeleton/Footy Pajama set that is currently in Hot Topic's display window. (2) He was telling me how he wanted to get a new set of Dress Blues for when he is buried and, as a side note, told me to make sure he was buried face down. This way people could kiss his you know what, instead of his face.

We finally got a tree today. The past few years our cats have climbed, jumped, and even fallen asleep in our Christmas trees. They are a bit bigger this year and I was wondering if they would be as playful. It only took an hour before they were both lunging into the green abyss.

I didn't get a pic of Sophie, but the funniest thing is her jumping from the TV area into the tree. So far that the only thing you can see is her tail. I hope she does it again and I have my camera ready!

Decorating is probably going to be a two day process as Sean has passed out on the couch. But i'm really enjoying the simplicity of lights and a few red ornaments. One of these years I want to decorate a tree with nothing but candles, cranberries, popcorn, ribbons, and pinecones.

And now, I enjoy the numerous offerings of Cable Television. Nothing like a life of luxury! ; )
