i've been sort of sick since friday. when i say "sort of sick" i mean i've been preparing to be bed-ridden, feverish, and unable to roll out of bed for the last 5 days. I don't catch things very easily, I like to credit it to the germ factory I work in, so when people around me are sick I usually don't think twice about it. I'm guiltily proud of the times that Sean, my sisters or mother are sick and I spend days around them without feeling slightly unhealthy. Sean had quite the cold last week, but it did not keep us from the usual reading, cuddling and playing of Risk that we are accustomed to. Friday arrived and I felt a slight lump in my throat and a whispy tickle in my nose. Like any normal person, my anticipation for my future ailment began. I began to hydrate myself with several hundred gallons of water, drink echinacea and green tea until i could no longer bear it, eat oranges, pop vitamin c, sleep, watch movies, dilly dally on the computer....now i'm not sure if all of the precautions i took stopped me from becoming extremely ill or if it was never in the cards for me to become ill in the first place. either way i'm a wee bit frustrated. here i am on day 5 of battling this cold and the most i've had is a nasaly voice and a few blows into the toilet paper roll, whichI now keep attatched to my right hand. am i going to get sick? do the beginning stages of a cold usually last this long? am i on my way up or down the hill? Aside from my dissapointment, it has been nice to relax, watch movies, sleep a lot, ignore my studies, eat chicken noodle soup and drink oodles of liquids.

a few general things.

anna referenced your previous blog on hers and gave you much love.

i have an insane desire to play risk and start an underground risk club like fight club but do not know how to play and am to lazy to try and figure out complicated rules. so i bought like one of those world domination computer games and its pretty cool. which means i'm officially a gamer now when you buy role playing world domination computer games.

i think you're over the cold or pre-cold. but you want to stay on top of it. try airborne. they're little seltzer like things that are like 2000% of your daily vitamin c.

and thanks for the comment. we raise our glass to you as well.

it's settled then, when you and
Anna come up in October the four of us will give birth to an underground risk club.and we can have bases in every major city, let's see we'll have Seattle and Atlanta covered, we might be able to convince Cari to start one up in Portland for us. Does Anna have many connections in Texas? I know some people in Edinburgh and Frankfurt... Let the world domination begin!
