it is so rare to live in the moment. and when one does, he often is unaware of the miracle taking place. what does it really mean to live the moment. must you be void of worry? free from over-analyzing? so completely aware of being that you are unaware of everything else? who knows?
i do know it is refreshing to realize that I have just spent time well. Walking about flower-bedded sidewalks, slowing by each shop window to properly focus on twinkling items for sale ...ducking underneath hanging pot's cascading greenery, stopping to sit on a wrought iron bench to read my favorite columnist in the local paper (who happened to mention the Waterfront Coffee Co in her recent article!), taking in all creation amidst myself allows me to free myself of my worries, tiredness, stress, complaints, and foolish pessimism.
Life is best when lived.
