Yesterday I didn't get out of bed until 2pm. Granted I got up for an hour earlier in the morning. I slept 12 hours. I've usually worked an 8.5 hour day by 2pm. It was nice to sleep instead. I took a bath, deep conditioned my hair, put on a mud mask, ate chicken taquitos, watched the The tale of Jemima Puddleduck with Sean and felt very differently about foxes afterwards, went to Bellydancing, returned to Sean's and sat cross-legged on his Oriental Rug reading Harry Potter, The histry of Irish Fairies and The Garden Behind the Moon while he ticked and tapped away at the laptop, posting on his latest blog (www.memoriesofaforgottenshore.blogspot.com) and smoked his pipe until it was Tuesday. A relaxing day much needed.

Today, completely rested, I could not sleep past 8:00am. I'm up, i've cleaned my bathroom, i'm going to go down to the beach for some tea, I will get dressed then Sean and I are going on a canoeing adventure and possibly blackberry picking (if they are ripe yet). Tomorrow morning I will open up the coffee shop to a throng of desperate peninsula travelers who have gotten up way too early this summer so that they might beat the ferry traffic and enjoy a hot day in kingston, poulsbo, port angeles, or port townsend. This time of my life is melodic.

You and I should go to Port Townsend someday, Sharon. We'll ride the tiny ferry to Whidbey Isle and peruse through memories at Camp Casey and creepy cement tunnels with swallow nests...
Where do you call home these days? I hope all is well, and I'd love to see you again soon.
